Cozy Mystery Recommendations — Irish/St. Patrick’s Day
Happy Friday fellow book lovers and friends! I hope the first week in March has been a great week!
I wasn’t going to do a Friday post today because I couldn’t decide if I wanted to do an author spotlight, fashion, or miscellaneous but after looking at YouTuber’s Irish/St. Patrick’s Day recommendation I decided this is what I would post today especially with St. Patrick’s Day just around the corner.
Last year my March TBR was nothing but cozy mysteries set in Ireland or set during St. Patrick’s Day and with that day growing closer I thought I would add my recommendations of my favorites that I read and enjoyed along with some I want to read.
Have a great weekend!
Cozy mysteries set in Ireland:
The Movie Club Mysteries by Zara Keane there are 7 books and 2 novellas in this delightful series so far and if you go to her website and join her mailing list you get 2 free eBooks. I love this series featuring former SFPD Office Maggie Doyle who finds herself on Whisper Island in Ireland after she catches her husband with his paralegal and looses her job.
All the book’s title are a play on a classic movie and I love this! This is a fun series and well written. The mysteries are solid and Maggie along with her cousin June and friend Lenny are worth getting to know. So is her Aunt Noreen.
