Fashionable Outerwear

Happy Thursday and November Southernistas! I must say I loved all the very fashionable Halloween looks/costumes I saw all over social media of fearless plus size fashion babes…they SLAYED Halloween!

Well here we are in November and here in NC the month came in like winter and not fall at all. The temperatures dropped lower than me or Miss Pumpkin were anticipating since I’m used to more mild temps this time of the year. Looking at the news some places have gotten snow, are getting snow, or wondering where the snow is which leads me to what I want to talk about today…outerwear. Coat season seems to be kicking jacket/blazer season out the way and is ready to shine. Outerwear doesn’t have to be boring and can just as stylish and the clothes we wear and I believe just as much thought should go into your outerwear as it goes into your other fashion choices.

A great coat even a puffer coat can make a statement and can really up your fashion game especially as it get colder, and if you’re like me and like to post outfit of the day pics, the coat gets its moment in the spotlight since it is too cold to (for me at least) to take it off and to showcase what I’m wearing that day. Even what you may consider your everyday coat doesn’t have to be boring.

I recently took an inventory of the coats in my closet and discovered I don’t have a single black coat! How this happened I know not but I have plenty of prints, checks, and other colors. I would definitely recommend that every closet should have following: a trench coat, a black coat…
