Friday Spotlight — Fall/Halloween TBR

Happy Friday book lovers! Well we made it! It is Friday and it is the last Friday of September so hats off to making it to the end of September. I count it a blessing that God has keep me an entire month and I’ve read some fantastic books.

Fall is here and the countdown to Halloween has begun having said that for some reason I was caught completely off guard. I’ve been seeing a lot of my favorite Bookstagrammers, BookTubers, Book Blogs, and authors post their most anticipated fall reads and Halloween suggestions and yet I still didn’t even begin to think about it until Fall arrived last Saturday and suddenly I’m like OMG I need to create my fall TBR with one or two Halloween cozy mysteries thrown into the mix.

What’s my excuse? Well I’ve been hanging on to summer but mostly I’ve been consumed and looking forward to my church’s conference that is happening the first weekend in October and lastly I will admit I’m already in a Christmas frame of mind and that TBR is pretty much set.

This is a limited TBR since I’m still working on creating it and at the rate I’m going fall will over winter will be here and I’ll still be talking about a fall reading list…LOL!
