Hello Southernistas! I decided not to post on my regular day of Thursday because today, September 21, 2021 is the official last day of summer and I wanted to say goodbye to summer on the last day of summer. I love summer! I always have and I always will and I know many count the days till fall comes back. Many of you don’t like the humidity, heat, mosquitos, and all the other pesky things about summer especially if you burn after 30 seconds in the sun. But what about the fashion, picnics, long lazy days, the beach, vacation, the summer flings, summer blockbusters and all the other great things summer brings?!

I don’t know if I love summer so much because I’m a summer baby or for me it always represented freedom! Freedom from endless layers of clothing trying to stay warm, freedom from school, freedom to play until 9:00pm. Just the total freedom of the sunshine even with the humidity and bugs.

Now don’t get me wrong there are things about fall I do love. I love to see the changing of the leaves to their beautiful fall colors, the extra hour of sleep as daylight savings time ends, and most of all the fall fashion!

So as I say my final farewell to Summer 2021 I decided to wear this cute blazer and pant set (sold out) from Eloquii’s spring/summer 2021 collection which screams summer with its beautiful watercolor florals! It’s also a slight nod to fall too since I usually break out the pants for the fall and…
