Hello book lovers! Happy 1st Day of July and Happy 4th of July! We did it y’all by the grace and mercy of God we made it to July and a three day weekend so….YES!

As I read other book blogs here on Medium other places plus those I follow on YouTube I am absolutely amazed at the sheer number of books, cozy mysteries and other genres, they read and trust me I so admire them and wish I could get close to reading 15–20 books in a month.

So while I didn’t come close to even 7 books here are my June reads:

A Deadly Inside Scoop (Ice Cream Parlor Mystery Book 1) Abby Collette

I am a big fan of Abby Collette and this is the book I kicked off my summer reading with. This was such a great mystery and so easy to follow with no (thankfully) subplots! Bronwyn Crewse is determined to bring her family’s ice cream shop back to its former glory even if the grand opening is taking place in the middle of a snow storm. The day of the store’s less then successful grand opening (no customers) Bronwyn finds a body behind the ice cream parlor. When her father becomes the prime suspect Bronwyn finds herself not only trying to save her family’s legacy but keep her father out of jail by finding the real killer.

A Side of Murder (Cape Cod Foodie Mystery Book 1) Amy Pershing
