Happy Friday to all my fellow book lovers and friends! I hope this first week in June has been a wonderful first week for all of you. For me when June comes thoughts of celebrating my birthday which is coming up soon and my summer reading list feels my mind. Speaking of summer reading list I am presently working on mine and it is coming together slowly but it is coming along.

While I eagerly anticipate all things June and all things Summer I want to share what I read what I read in May. Last month I read six books last month and they were so really great books. It seems for me May was the month I binge read and got caught up with some cozy mystery series which is a good thing as I’ve pre-ordered the newest book in each of the series.

How was your May? Are you working on your summer/beach reads?

Without further ado here are the cozy mysteries I read in May:)

Paper Cuts by Ellery Adams (4.5 Stars)

It goes without saying that Ellery Adams is such a great author! In this sixth book in her popular Secret, Book, and Scone Society series Nora Pennington gets a visit from her past when Kelly Walsh the woman her husband left her for (now his ex-wife) shows up in Miracle Springs, NC with her precious son. She has come to Miracle Springs because she is dying and she wants to set things right with Nora. We also get introduced to Nora’s ex-husband also who is so slimy.

When Kelly is murdered no one can understand who would murder a woman who had so little time…
