My Favorite Met Gala Looks!
Happy Thursday Southernistas! In case you missed it this May 1st fell on a Monday this year and you know what that meant….The Met Gala also known as Fashion’s Night Out, The East Coast Academy Awards of Fashion, Fashions Biggest Night and I could go on and on! This year’s theme was Karl Lagerfeld: A Line of Beauty. Regardless of what you think of the legendary designer who died in 2019 and I can assure I have thoughts as a plus size woman there is no denying the fashion legacy he left behind! I myself own two Karl Lagerfeld pieces and made sure I turned out in one those pieces yesterday.
Overall I thought most paid proper homage to Karl Lagerfeld but as always there were some misses.
There were so many fabulous looks but alas I can’t post them all! I especially loved Jeremy Pope’s look which was a true ode to Karl Lagerfeld. To see all the looks check out Vogue.com.
