No Words

Today I am not going to talk about fashion, self confidence or style. Every since I heard the news on Tuesday afternoon of another mass shooting in this country in a week’s time I’ve had a lot of feelings and as a mother a lot of tears. So today I can’t bring myself to talk about fashion & style when there is another tragedy in this country as a result of gun violence. I am angry at those politicians who are too scared of the gun lobby to take a stand but have no problem enacting laws that take away my right as a woman or want to rewrite history.

Today I mourn and I pray for mothers, fathers and extended families whose arms and hearts are empty. Who have to make funeral arrangements instead of summer vacation plans for young lives gone way too soon. I pray for God’s grace, peace and comfort for these families.

So today no pictures maybe next week but not today. Today as I did yesterday I mourn, I pray and I hope for a better day.
