Owning the Room with Torrid

Hello Southernistas! I hope y’all’s December is going well and you’re taking advantage of the holiday deals and steals I know I have been. I am also excited to be back in the holiday social whirl. After two years of no holiday gatherings I am very excited they are back with proper precautions of course.

For me the kick off is my department’s Christmas party and I was prepared. I thought I would be pulling something from my closet then Torrid dropped a new collection from Betsey Johnson! Ummmm…yes please and thank you! My eye immediately spied this absolutely gorgeous gold and black tulle dress and there was no way I wasn’t going to buy the dress because I am no fool! I originally bought the dress to wear New Year’s Eve but once the email went out that the Christmas party was a go plans changed. I am so happy this Betsey Johnson x Torrid collaboration is still going strong and I hope it continues for some time.

When I stepped in the venue where the Christmas party was I knew I owned the freaking ROOM! I got nothing but compliments on top of compliments all night long and I really felt like the bell of the ball.

I want to end this little blog encouraging you to own the room! Every room I step in I own! You can own the room this holiday season with a killer dress and killer shoes regardless of your size. Weather you’re a size 00 or 30 it doesn’t matter what does matter is how you feel when you put on that outfit. As I’ve said previously when you fell confident it shows and everybody sits up and pays attention.
