Summer TBR — What I’ve Read…So Far

Happy August 1st book lovers and friends! Well August is here and I know for many of you your thoughts are taking up with back to school shopping, for some it is either sending off or taking your child (or children) to college, and possibly trying to get in one more family vacation before school starts for those of you who have kids. Hopefully over the summer you’ve been able to tackle your summer reading pile (if you have one).

When August comes I always begin the countdown to fall which saddens this summer loving girl’s heart. I also like to take a moment and look at my Summer TBR and see how much progress I made so this year I thought I would share it with you.

Overall I feel like I’ve been in something of a reading slump this summer I don’t if it’s the heat or just the busyness of life at the moment. I always create a Summer TBR in May and start reading in June and I always try to make sure I don’t make sure a huge TBR that I defeat myself.

I am not one who tracks how many pages, hours, etc. I’ve read but I do keep track of the books I’ve read and as I look over the books I’ve read this summer I am pleased with the my progress! I’ve read a total of 13 books so far this summer of the 13 books. I am only going to list 12 books I am saving book 13 for my July reading wrap up.
