Happy Wednesday and although the day has passed I still want to wish all you book lovers a happy National Book Lover’s Day! So far this month is going a little slow for me reading wise. I find myself with some great books but I’m just taking my time reading them. It is the second week of August and I’m on my second book last month this time I was on my third book but every month is different.

With that being said here is what’s on my TBR, I’m currently reading and what’s next:

Finished Reading:

Death by Bubble Tea (L.A. Night Market Mystery #1) by Jennifer J. Chow

Yale Yee has lost her dream job at The Literary Narnia and her father who owns Wing Fat Restaurant has offered her the opportunity to run their stall Yee Snacks at the first Night Market. On top of that her cousin Celine has flown in from Hong Kong and she hasn’t seen her cousin in 20 years. The cousins could not be more different Yale doesn’t own a cell phone, laptop, tablet, she doesn’t drive gets around using public transportation or walking whereas Celine is the complete opposite. Now the cousins are working together to run the stall with Celine handling all the social media and marketing and Yale dishing up the delicious Yee snacks. It is slow going at first but soon business picks up after a ninja (this is set at Halloween) who is a well know social media personality post a picture of the bubble tea she got from their stall. As the night wraps up and Yale is heading home, she lives within walking distance, she stumbles upon the body of the…
