Hello Book Lovers! Well we made it to my favorite month of the year…JUNE! Why is it my favorite month? Well it may have something to do with the fact that is the month I was born and I celebrate my birthday all month.

I hope you got lots of reading done this long holiday weekend! I didn’t get nearly as much reading done as I wanted but I did end the month reading a mystery by an Asian American writer to close as AAPI month.

Now that it is June all I can think about (besides my birthday) is summer reading and I am all for it darlings.

Currently Reading:

A Deadly Inside Scoop (Book 1 Ice Cream Parlor Mystery) by Abby Collette

I recently discovered this author. bonus that she is a WOC, when I ran across another of her series at Barnes & Noble so when I saw rave reviews about this series I immediately bought this book some months ago. I decided to pull this off my TBR pile and kick off my summer reading, I mean what better book, with the first book in Abby Collette’s Ice Cream Parlor series that is set in Chargrin Falls, OH. I am loving this book and the amateur sleuth Bronwyn “Wyn” Chase as she along with her friends try to find out who killed Stephen Bayard.

Finished Reading:

Arsenic and Adobo (Tita Rosie Kitchen Mystery Book 1) by Mia P. Manansala
