Happy Wednesday cozy mystery and book lovers! I hope y’all’s week is going well so far. This month is shaping up to be a better reading month for ya girl even though work has been super stressful this month but nothing relaxes me like a great book.

I’ve really read some great books this month! I can’t believe this month is coming to a close and March is on the way! Time for me to get cracking on creating a St. Patrick’s Day/Irish theme TBR with some Spring themed cozies mixed in with the books.

Buried in a Good Book (By the Book Mystery #1) by Tamara Berry

This was by book club pick and I was very excited to read this first book in Tamara Berry’s By the Book series. I’d read nothing but glowing reviews about this series but what really hooked me was the main character, Tess Harrow, is a mystery writer putting her sleuthing skills to work! Sadly I didn’t like the book at all I gave it 3 stars. I found Tess to be an obnoxious know it all but it wasn’t just Tess that was not likeable. This is the first book I’ve read that I found 99.99 % of the character thoroughly unlikeable and I just didn’t connect with any of them.
