Happy Wednesday book lovers! As I stated in a previous Wednesday Reads post October has been a slow reading month for me and with that being said here is what I am currently reading and what’s up next.

Currently Reading:

I am still reading well actually re-reading my Facebook November book club pick Death by Chocolate Cherry Cheesecake the first book in Death by Chocolate mystery series by Sarah Graves. I remember really enjoying this book the first time I read it but what I didn’t know is this is a spinoff of a previous series by this author. She previously wrote the Home Repair is Homicide series with the same sleuths Jacobia “Jake” Tiptree and Ellie White which makes a lot of sense because in this new series they are constantly referring to other murders they’ve helped solved. This means I now much add this author’s first series to my TBR.

While I am enjoying it the second time around I find myself getting distracted by other mysteries I haven’t read yet (sigh) so it is taking me a little longer to re-read this series. It helps that it has been so long since I read this series I have forgotten who the killer is so that is a plus.

I’ve just started reading The Sound of Murder book 1 in the Musical Murder series by K.L. Montgomery and I am wondering if this is a spinoff of another series or if there is prequel because the story starts with sleuth Ruby Ecco talking about solving a murder.
