Happy Wednesday book lovers! First I just want to take a moment to celebrate my 101 posts this truly a milestone for me so go me! Last month was a good month for me I actually read 7 books…whoo hoo! Granted there are many I follow on this platform and Instagram that read 10 books or more and to them I say WAY TO GO!

July was a month I discovered some great new (to me) authors and new cozy mystery series that I really enjoyed.

I hope these books find their way onto your TBR lists also check out Fatima Shah’s blog here for non-mystery recommendations but if you want more cozy mystery recommendations check out www.cozy-mystery.com and bookfrolic blog.

July Reads

Murder Is No Picnic (Cape Cod Foodie Mystery #3) by Amy Pershing

What worked for me: The mystery really worked for me and the red herrings were just enough. This was a well written mystery and I was able to follow the plot despite the various sub plots that were happening.

What didn’t work for me: Who was the dog napper! I felt there was a lot going on in this third book and there were references to the previous book so read the books in order.

Murder, She Knit (A Knit & Nibble Mystery #1) by Peggy Ehrhart
