Hello Book Lovers! I hope you’re having a great week and there are no DNFs. Saturday (June 10th) was my birthday and I celebrated with my family and found myself inside my local independent bookstore which I’m sure surprises no one. Just know I celebrate my birthday the whole month and not just one day since I was born in the month of June…LOL

This is my last week at work and I will be on vacation two whole weeks! I can’t wait and I anticipated lots of Bible study and lots of mysteries being read. I know Miss Pumpkin will enjoy having me home for lots of belly rubs and walks.

I’m making progress on my Summer TBR and they are all page turners and hard to put down!

What are you reading? Do you have a summer reading list or are you a mood reader?

Until Next Time!

Currently Reading:

Murder at the Breakers (Gilded Newport Mystery #1) by Alyssa Maxwell I am loving this historical mystery set in Newport, Rhode Island when the wealthy came to Newport to get away from the city heat and spend time in there “summer cottages.” Emmaline Cross is a cousin to the wealthy Vanderbilt family and the society reporter for the Newport Observer. When her Uncle’s secretary Mr. Goddard is murdered The Breakers, the Vanderbilt’s summer home, during her cousin Gertrude’s coming out party and her brother is arrested for the murder Emma is determined to prove her brother may be many things but he is not a murderer. This is a well written and well paced mystery…
