Wednesday Reads — June 7th
Hello fellow book lovers! I hope you’re June is going great! Since June is my birth month it’s all good with me…LOL. I am looking celebrating my birthday in a few days and I will definitely be celebrating with a good cozy mystery. The only downside is that I was supposed to be on vacation this week but my co-worker had surgery this week which would have left my department severely short staffed so I’ve pushed back my vacation.
I have definitely kicked off June with a bang reading wise which is even surprising to me because last month I struggled to read and it not feel like a chore. I think the dreary and cold weather had a lot to do with it but since June has arrived the temps have been in the 80s and my mood has lifted. At the time of this post I have 5 books which is funny because it is June 5th. I’ve never read this many books the first week of any month but I’ve been unable to put them down they are real page turners and that is what you want in a good book especially a mystery.
I am so looking forward to this year’s summer reading TBR I’ve finally created and constantly adding to it. What are you currently reading?
Currently Reading:
I am a huge fan of Tonya Kappes and her Campers and Criminals cozy mystery series is probably her most popular cozy mystery series. I am reading the second book in the series Deserts, Driving, & Derelicts and I am loving how Mae West is settling into her new life in Normal, KY where nothing is normal! I am instantly transported back to Mae’s campground…
