Wednesday Reads — March 29th
Happy Wednesday cozy mystery lovers and fellow book lovers of other genres! Wow I can’t believe we are at the end of March! The month just got here and in two days it will be April.
I’m kinda patting myself on the back for the number of books I read in a week which is a record for me so kudos to me! I actually read three books this week!
I thought about making this post a wrap up of what I read this month but I’m still reading and I think the books I am reading now I can just squeeze them on to my March TBR so I decided to save my monthly wrap up for next month.
Finished Reading:
I am still making my way through Ireland and finished reading Murder at an Irish Castle (Irish Castle Mystery #1) by Ellie Brannigan and overall I really enjoyed this first book in this series. I really liked Rayne who finds herself in Ireland (and she is the victim of a con artist boyfriend) when her Uncle Nevin dies and leaves her the family castle much to her and her newly discovered cousin Ciara’s surprise. There were a lot of twists and turns and the killer was a total surprise to me. I really didn’t like Ciara who was beyond hostile to Rayne and clearly resented her being there. I gave this book 3 stars and I am hoping to see a lot of growth in these characters as the series goes hopefully beyond 3 books.
