Wednesday Reads — May 10th
Happy Wednesday book people! I hope everyone’s week is going well. May is shaping up to be a great reading month for me. I’m making progress on my British cozy mystery TBR pile I created to celebrate the coronation of King Charles III. Did you watch the coronation? I certainly did but I didn’t get up at 5:00AM to watch on thankfully I subscribe to BritBox and was able to watch it later in the day and it was truly regal and I loved all the regalia, tradtions and of course the fashion darling was to die for!
I was so caught up with Met Gala (May 1st) and Coronation (May 6th) fever I totally forgot that May is Asian American Pacific Islander (AAPI) Heritage month! I will certainly be incorporating mysteries written by AAPI authors in my TBR this month too. It is also Mental Health Awareness month also please make sure you are taking care of your mental health. If you need health don’t be afraid or ashamed to reach out to mental health professionals and if you know someone struggling with their mental health get them help. Let’s remove the stigma of shame that society attaches to mental health.
