Wednesday Reads-My Review of Two Parts Sugar, One Parts Murder by Valerie Burns
Happy Wednesday Book Lovers! I hope everyone had a great and relaxing Labor Day weekend I certainly did. What better way to kick off the weekend then reading. I thought doing my usual Wednesday wrap up but I felt that this new cozy mystery series by Valerie Burns who also writes several other cozy mystery series as V.M. Burns deserved the spotlight.
Every since I saw the author’s announcement about this series and read the summary I was hooked so I pre-ordered this book and patiently (?) waited to receive my book but all the reviews from the Bookbiosphere were overwhelmingly good. I mean five stars and it made me almost wish I had signed up for an ARC but oh well.

Madison Montgomery has been left at the altar of her livestream wedding so when she received word that her Great-Aunt Octavia has died and left Madison her house and bakery she packs up her Louboutin’s and Jimmy Choo’s and heads to New Bison, MI to escape. She arrives in the small town to sell the house and business but finds out that her great aunt has stipulated that she must live there and run the bakery for 1 year.
