Happy November 1st fellow book lovers and friends! I hope you had a great time celebrating Halloween if you do celebrate weather you have kids or don’t have kids. October was a slow reading month for me in fact I decided to take a break after I read the Murder at the PTA and I am so glad I did. I think I just need to take a day of just not reading anything because when I woke up this first day of November I was itching to read.

I read seven books in October and only one was Halloween themed but not paranormal/witchy or any of those things no definitely no horror I have no problem admitting I am a big scary cat.

As always please share what you read in the month of October. What on your TBR for November? Do you have favorite book you read in October?

I kicked off October with the first book in Catherine Bruns Maple Syrup mystery series A Doomful of Sugar. I really enjoyed this first book set in Vermont (where else) and loved that the family is of Middle Eastern descent. I found the mystery fasst paced and just couldn’t put it down

You can never go wrong with anything Julie Anne Lindsey writes! She also writes under the names Jacqueline Frost and Bree Baker. Pulp Friction did not disappoint but I did find at times the story plodded along and Winnie’s ex was beyond frustrating to the point that I really wish he…
