Murder at the Festive (A Read Between the Wines Cozy Mystery #1) by Dani Simms

This is my Facebook Book Club pick for this month and I have to admit this was not one of my favorites. There was not world building or character development at all I never felt like I knew how Avery was and I felt like I was dropped into the mystery. I found Avery highly annoying and it didn’t help that I knew nothing about her except she was a widow and I think her husband was maybe a mystery writer but not sure. I don’t even know the name of the small town or what state it is set in. The…
