WWW Wednesday — September 25th

Hello fellow book lovers and friends! Wow I can’t believe that it is now Fall and this is the last Wednesday of September. I really thought this would be a slow reading month for me but I surprised myself in the most pleasant way. I actually read three books in the past week so YEAH ME!

What I recently finished reading:

This is a new series by Ellie Alexander and WOW! What a great series. It is set in Redwood Grove, CA the main character is Annie Murray who holds a degree in criminology but has never used it due to the death of her best friend, Scarlett, the day before graduation. Annie finds herself working a the The Secret Bookcase and is happy. If you are a fan of Agatha Christie then you will appreciate this series and all the little Christie Easter Eggs throughout the books.

My one con is I would have loved to see her co-worker Fletcher play more of a part helping solve the murders.
